Tohu
Two weeks ago we fulfilled a long-time dream and brought home a dog from our local shelter. We've named him Tohu...from the biblical Hebrew for "wild" (see Mel's better explanation, with reference to Genesis 1:2, here, along with another Tohu-picture). We love him.
Here he is facing down one of our neighbor's Alpacas. Sorry if he's hard to see; he blends in with the shade.

You know, most of the feeds that appear in my feed reader are for Web 2.0 apps / companies / news. When this came up, I got excited: "Someone did it! Someone named a startup after half of the formless void!" But no. It's just your delightful dog.
Tohu. I spelled his name wrong on Mel's blog, despite the fact that it's there in the entry.
But it was lovely visiting with you, and hope to see you again soon!
One of your neighbor's ALPACAS?? Oh my. Can I come spin some yarn?
