Guilty as charged...
Oh, I have definitely been guilty of the "pseudo-prayer" described below when leading a church service. Don't try to impress people with your praying, or to (not so subtly) preach at them during the prayer. And don't pray aloud(as i once saw being done), "And Lord, we ask that some of us, like the girls in the back row, would stop giggling and be more respectful." No matter how much you want to.
